Meanwhile, Wellington humbled Fort Lupton with a 48-6 victory. The Eagles pushed the score to 48-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bluedevils cut but never quite recovered from.

Tanner Gray and Cash Altschwager were among the main playmakers for Wellington as the former threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes and the latter gained 169 total yards and three touchdowns. Cyle Kisner helped Gray out on the ground, rushing for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
