Volleyball Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Milton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pensacola Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Milton ultimately came up short, they really made Pensacola work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26, 23-25, 26-24, 15-12.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Pensacola, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Milton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pensacola, they will take on West Florida at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
