Baseball Recap: Esko Takes a Loss

Esko was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pequot Lakes Patriots, falling 14-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eskomos have suffered since April 10th.

Esko saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conor Sullivan, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Eagan Harker also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Esko's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Pequot Lakes, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Esko will host Mora at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pequot Lakes, they will be playing at home against Foley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
