Basketball Game Preview: Lowndes Vikings vs. Richmond Hill Wildcats

Lowndes is 5-0 against Richmond Hill since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lowndes Vikings will challenge the Richmond Hill Wildcats at 6:00 p.m.

Lowndes is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past Richmond Hill 54-51. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Wildcats are ranked 224th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lowndes' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Isaiah Camon, who went 8 for 13 en route to 20 points, and Kaiden Brown, who posted nine points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Camon has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Ferguson, who earned seven points.

Lowndes' win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Richmond Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
