It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but California ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 61-60 photo finish over the Dublin Gaels. Winning may never get old, but the Grizzlies sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

California got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brayde Kuykendall out in front who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was DANE WALLACE, who had 21 points.

California is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. As for Dublin, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-2.

California and Dublin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. California (ranked 36th) will meet Monte Vista (ranked 162nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. California is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.7 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Dublin will square off against Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 320 places (24 vs. 344).
