Soccer Recap: Pelion Victorious

Pelion won against Batesburg-Leesville last Tuesday with four goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. The Panthers came out on top against the Airport Eagles by a score of 4-2. That's two games straight that Pelion have won by exactly two goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Pelion and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Airport, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pelion will host American Leadership Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Airport, they will be playing at home against White Knoll at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
