Indian River scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 72-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lowville Red Raiders. The defeat leaves the Wolves still looking for their first win of the season.

Despite the loss, Indian River still got an impressive performance from Sophie Walsh, who went 11-for-22 on her way to 29 points. Walsh is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Sasha Montressor was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Indian River's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lowville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian River will host East Syracuse-Minoa at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lowville, they will be home for the holidays to greet Sandy Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
