Baseball Recap: Tappan Zee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Greeley on Saturday, Tappan Zee came back down to earth. The Dutchmen fell just short of the Harrison Huskies by a score of 6-4 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Dutchmen have suffered since April 2nd.

Tappan Zee's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Harrison, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Tappan Zee has already played their next game, an 8-3 defeat against Clarkstown South on the 13th. As for Harrison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-5 win against Greeley on the 13th.
