Flag Football Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

Evans extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 6-7. They lost 20-0 to the Blessed Trinity Titans. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Titans are ranked seventh).

Chloe Crawley threw for 80 yards on nine of 13 attempts. Sadie Morningstar was her top target, picking up 51 receiving yards. On the ground, Kyleigh Chase rushed for 47 yards.

As for Blessed Trinity, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.1 points over those games.

The critical scores for Blessed Trinity came from Maggie Sullivan and Hannah Daley.

Evans didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 24-6 loss against Grovetown on the 10th. As for Blessed Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-6 defeat against Southeast Bulloch on the 8th.
