Dyer County barely beat Adamsville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Choctaws never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Choctaws have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Dyer County, bringing their record up to 14-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Adamsville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Dyer County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-5 victory against Waverly Central on the 12th. As for Adamsville, they will square off against Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
