Volleyball Recap: Harrison Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Harrison won the last time they faced Lawrence North and things went their way on Saturday too. The Raiders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats.

Harrison didn't let Lawrence North take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.

Cole Hess paced Harrison's offense, picking up eight kills. Hess got some help from Ian McKinney and his 16 assists. McKinney was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Harrison pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lawrence North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Harrison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Columbus North on the 12th. As for Lawrence North, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Homestead on the 12th.
