Brandon is a perfect 10-0 against Petal since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Brandon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.3 goals per game this season.

Petal will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Brandon extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Bulldogs never let Pearl get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Give Brandon's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Pearl from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Carleigh King led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Petal was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Northwest Rankin, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for Petal in their meetings with Northwest Rankin: they've now lost five in a row.

Brandon's victory bumped their record up to 8-0-1. As for Petal, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1-2.

Brandon took their win against Petal when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
