Volleyball Recap: Kalaheo Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Moanalua

Kalaheo faced Moanalua in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Menehune, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Menehune this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

Kalaheo's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Moanalua, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Kalaheo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Kalani on the 2nd. As for Moanalua, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Farrington on the 2nd.
