Volleyball Recap: Calvary Day Beats Islands for Their Third Straight Win

Calvary Day waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Islands Sharks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-13.

Kinsey Prado paced Calvary Day's offense, picking up 18 kills. Prado got some help from Emma McIntosh and her 19 assists. Caroline Kennedy and Brie Sumner kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Calvary Day's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Islands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-11.

Calvary Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Islands, they will take on West Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
