Football Game Preview: MacArthur Generals vs. Eisenhower Eagles

MacArthur is 2-8 against Eisenhower since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Generals will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

MacArthur is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Nimitz on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Generals were dealt a 51-7 defeat at the hands of the Cougars. The Generals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Eisenhower and Benjamin Davis had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles were outmatched by the Falcons and fell 38-7. The Eagles have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
