Football Recap: Wallington Comes Up Short Despite Ivana Dimoska's Big Defensive Game

Thursday just wasn't the day for Wallington's offense. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrison Blue Tide on Thursday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 38-6 to the Blue Tide when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Even if they lost, Wallington's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Harrison's QB won't forget Ivana Dimoska anytime soon given she sacked her three times. Dimoska also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six. Wallington got some further help from Amanda Concannon: she picked up a sack and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Harrison can attribute much of their success to Hailey Scocco, who threw for 88 yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most passing yards Scocco has posted since back in May of 2024.

Wallington's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Harrison, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.
