Baseball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clinton can now relate to. They fell just short of the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Maroons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Maroa-Forsyth, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-9-1.

As of now, neither Clinton nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
