Soccer Game Preview: East Bay vs. Wharton

The East Bay Indians will take on the Wharton Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses for East Bay and three for Wharton.

Last Tuesday, East Bay didn't have quite enough to beat Chamberlain and fell 2-1.

East Bay's goal came courtesy of Desire Bertir, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Wharton's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Newsome by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Wolves are ranked 144th).

East Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Wharton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
