Basketball Recap: Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Sets Scoring Season-High Against Putnam

Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 54-43 to the Putnam Kingsmen. One positive for the Mustangs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Putnam, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs face off against the Parkrose Broncos at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts is facing Parkrose at the right time seeing as Parkrose is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Putnam, they will head out to take on Wilsonville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Wilsonville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Putnam likes a good challenge.
