Softball Recap: Wahama Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Wahama couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 9-1 to the Pendleton County Wildcat on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the White Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Wahama saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Staats, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Wahama has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 29-9 record this season. As for Pendleton County, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-2.

As of now, neither Wahama nor the Wildcat have any future games scheduled.
