While Haverford put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Penncrest. The Fords put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Fords, who have now won four games by nine runs or more so far this season.
The result came thanks to Olivia Carter's shutout, as she gave up just a hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ali Daly and Brenna Carfrey did most of the damage at the plate: Daly went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Carfrey went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
