South Point never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Dawson-Bryant Hornets as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The Pointers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Ethan Laslo made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI were his first of the season.
