Volleyball Recap: Herscher Takes a Loss

Herscher lost against Pontiac back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Indians. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15.

Pontiac can attribute much of their success to Morgan Dewald, who had 16 assists and nine digs. Dewald is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Herscher's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Pontiac, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Herscher wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Coal City on the 23rd. As for Pontiac, they will face off against Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
