Softball Recap: Lansdowne Vikings vs. Catonsville Comets
Lansdowne had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 1-9 to make it eight. They lost 29-5 to the Catonsville Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-7 back in March.
As for Catonsville, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won five contests by eight runs or more so far this season.
For Catonsville's part, Kaia Gross made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
