Football Recap: Citronelle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Citronelle was the 29-6 winner over Bryant when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took an 18-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes on Friday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Whyatt Nelson threw for 46 yards and one TD. On the ground, Kobe Weaver rushed for 36 yards and one score.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jayden James and Anthony Sturgis. James rushed for 122 yards and one touchdown while Sturgis rushed for 91 yards and one TD.

Citronelle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bryant, their record is now 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Citronelle will challenge UMS-Wright Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bryant, they will face off against Mary G. Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
