Football Recap: American Piles Up the Points Against Jackson

American got themselves on the board against Jackson on Wednesday, but Jackson never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 27-0 win over the Jackson Generals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

American's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Jackson, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, American will face off against South Miami at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. American's defense has only allowed five points per game this season, so South Miami's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Jackson, they will head out to square off against Edison at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Edison knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Jackson likes a good challenge.
