Volleyball Recap: West Henderson Falcons vs. Forestview Jaguars
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Henderson had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Forestview Jaguars 3-0. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on eight straight.
The win didn't come easy: Forestview scored at least 16 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-16.
Allyson Garcia had a dynamite game for West Henderson, getting ten digs and four aces. That's the most aces Garcia has posted since back in September.
West Henderson was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forestview only served three.
West Henderson's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2. As for Forestview, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.
West Henderson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against West Rowan on the 26th. Forestview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
