Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Flanagan

Flanagan won against Western on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Falcons walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Cypress Bay Lightning. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The team relied heavily on Edwin Nodal, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luis Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Flanagan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cypress Bay only managed seven.

The win keeps Flanagan at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Flanagan will take on South Broward at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cypress Bay, they will challenge Schoolhouse Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
