Football Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

Centerville managed to slip by Rogers the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers had to suffer through a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rogers, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Centerville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hearne at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Tigers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rogers, they have already played their next game, a 40-7 defeat against Columbus on the 3rd.
