Softball Recap: Barberton Takes a Loss

Barberton managed to slip by Roosevelt the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Magics came up short against the Rough Riders on Wednesday, falling 12-5. The Magics were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rough Riders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Natalie Snider was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Barberton and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Roosevelt, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

While Barberton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
