Baseball Game Preview: American Heritage Stallions vs. Pine Crest Panthers

The American Heritage Stallions will challenge the Pine Crest Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. American Heritage's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Pine Crest's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, American Heritage came up short against Calvary Christian Academy and fell 8-3. The Stallions have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Ryan Ashley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Nico Bellantoni also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Pine Crest also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Archbishop McCarthy by a score of 9-5.

Pine Crest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paul Baker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

American Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Pine Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2-2.
