Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Gets the Win

Roosevelt won against Legacy on Wednesday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Rough Riders came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Rough Riders in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Not much got past Maddoxx Davila, who gave up just three hits to keep Legacy off the board. Davila has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Roosevelt's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Lopez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Benjamin Soto also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Legacy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

As of now, neither Roosevelt nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
