Dimond entered their tilt with Valdez on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Buccaneers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lynx also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Dimond never let Valdez on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 26-24.

Elena Snow was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last three contests.

Dimond's victory bumped their record up to 25-9-1. As for Valdez, they dropped their record down to 38-10-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
