Zeeland West had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.1 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They took down the Holland Dutch 50-33. Given the Dux's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Dutch are ranked 469th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Zeeland West's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Holland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
