Temple Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Ridgeview Panthers by a score of 62-55.

Shaun Mcclam went supernova, putting up 22 points. JaCere Green was another key player, scoring 14 points and five rebounds.

Temple Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Ridgeview's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Justyn Cappas, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 15 points and three steals, and Aaron Carr, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 15 points. Carr continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Stechschulte, who posted seven points and six boards.

Temple Christian Academy's record is now 3-0. As for Ridgeview, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Temple Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Stanton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Soldiers will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 73.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ridgeview, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Middleburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
