Volleyball Game Preview: Everett Alvarez Eagles vs. Pacific Collegiate Pumas

The Everett Alvarez Eagles will challenge the Pacific Collegiate Pumas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Everett Alvarez came up short against Palma on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Chieftains recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Pacific Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Rancho San Juan.

Pacific Collegiate couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Rancho San Juan a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-31, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Everett Alvarez's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pacific Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
