Basketball Game Preview: Knox Redskins vs. Twin Lakes Indians

The Knox Redskins will take on the Twin Lakes Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Knox has struggled recently with 14 losses in a row, while Twin Lakes will arrive with three straight victories.

Knox is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Jimtown last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Knox was beaten by Jimtown 63-21. The Redskins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-13.

Cain Weber put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted six points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

Meanwhile, Twin Lakes beat Kankakee Valley 65-57 on Friday.

Twin Lakes has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points per game. As for Knox, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
