Football Recap: Randolph Comes Up Short

Randolph fell victim to Cambria-Friesland and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers. The loss leaves the Rockets still looking for their first win of the season.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cambria-Friesland, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Randolph will welcome Westfield Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers' defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so the Rockets' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Cambria-Friesland, they are taking a road trip to take on Lourdes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hilltoppers 13.8, the Knights 13.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
