Volleyball Recap: Prior Lake Snags Ninth Victory in Last 12 Games

Prior Lake hadn't done well against Lakeville North recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lakers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 3-2. Surprisingly, this marked the Lakers' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Prior Lake had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-17, 16-14.

Prior Lake is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Lakeville North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-8 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Prior Lake and Shakopee will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. Lakeville North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
