Basketball Recap: Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Takes a Loss

Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the Heritage Classical Christian Academy Hawks, falling 57-18. The Crusaders lost against the Hawks in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 28-12 score last time.

Zoey Zamarripa was Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis' leading scorer, having posted nine points. Zuri King held things down on the boards with 12 rebounds. Saydee Cofer took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Heritage Classical Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.

Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis will look to defend their home court on Friday against Providence Classical Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. Providence Classical Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis' offense will have their work cut out for them. Heritage Classical Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
