Soccer Game Preview: Seminole Ridge vs. Cooper City

The Seminole Ridge Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Cooper City Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seminole Ridge's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Seminole Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past South Broward 2-1. That's two games straight that the Hawks have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Cooper City kept a clean sheet against Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Flying L's as they made off with a 3-0 win. Considering the Cowboys have won 12 games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Amanda Will and Michelle Rosen scored all three of Cooper City's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 49 goals.

Cooper City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those seven matchups. As for Seminole Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4-2.
