Volleyball Recap: Williston Northampton Finds Home Court Redemption Against Ethel Walker

There's no place like home for Williston Northampton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past Ethel Walker 3-0 on Saturday.

While Williston Northampton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-19.

Rachel Xing paced Williston Northampton's offense, picking up seven kills. Xing got some help from Mel McCullough and her 25 assists. Nina Coffee controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Williston Northampton's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Ethel Walker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Williston Northampton will head out on the road to face off against Cheshire Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ethel Walker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
