If DeKalb wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Woodlan, they should've done a better job of containing McKenna Smith. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Barons on Monday for which the team can thank Smith, who had ten digs and five aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-13.

Woodlan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for DeKalb, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-20.

Woodlan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Homestead on the 7th. DeKalb has also already played their next match (against New Haven), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
