Winslow won the last time they faced Holbrook and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Roadrunners.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.

Kassidy Belone paced Winslow's offense, picking up six kills. Belone got some help from Keira Barton and her 18 assists. Barton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaitlyn Belone, each putting up five.

Winslow's win bumped their record up to 17-15-1. As for Holbrook, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Winslow is set to challenge their familiar foe Alchesay at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. Meanwhile, Holbrook will face off against rival Show Low at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th.
