Baseball Game Preview: Union County Patriots vs. Hagerstown Tigers

The Union County Patriots will face off against the Hagerstown Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union County hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Indianapolis Kings hit Union County with a eight-run second inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Patriots lost 12-2 to Indianapolis Kings.

Union County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Cheatham, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hagerstown took on Franklin County on Saturday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 8-2 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Union County's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Hagerstown, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
