Carrollton and Holden are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Trojans will welcome the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Holden will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Carrollton extended their winning streak to four on Monday. The Trojans beat Santa Fe by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 20-2.

Meanwhile, Holden got the win against Richmond on Monday by a conclusive 10-4. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Holden's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Carrollton, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.

Carrollton skirted past Holden 6-4 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
