Volleyball Recap: United Takes a Loss + How To Watch

United was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Conemaugh Township Indians, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-12.

United's offense was headlined by Anna Marshall and Ella Worthington, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Lilly Mcginnis and her four assists.

Averie Seibert was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 20 assists and six digs. Seibert is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

United's loss dropped their record down to 4-18-2. As for Conemaugh Township, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2-1.

United has already played their next matchup (against Portage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Conemaugh Township, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cambria Heights on the 13th.
