Basketball Recap: Franklin Skates Past West Bend East with Ease

There's no place like home for Franklin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 74-32 victory over the West Bend East Suns. That 42 point margin sets a new team best for the Sabers this season.

Franklin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for West Bend East, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season.

Franklin will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kenosha Bradford at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Kenosha Bradford's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for West Bend East, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when they and West Bend West meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Bend West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully West Bend East likes a good challenge.
