Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horton). They took down the Valley Falls Dragons 78-60 on Monday. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

When it comes to explaining why Valley Falls lost, don't look at Trenten VanHoutan. Despite the final result, he posted 25 points and eight rebounds. The match was VanHoutan's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Damian Cervantez was another key player, putting up ten points and five boards.

Horton's win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Valley Falls, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.

Horton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-38 victory against Jackson Heights on the 4th. Valley Falls has also already played their next contest, a 72-38 win against Pleasant Ridge on the 4th.
