Soccer Game Preview: Bravo vs. Marshall

Bravo is 0-3 against Marshall since January of 2024 but things could change on Friday. The Bravo Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Marshall Barristers at 2:30 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Bravo came up short against Franklin and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Marshall came tearing into Wednesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.2 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Barristers, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Eagle Rock with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luis Gonzales, Montaigne Wilson, and Anton Green.

Marshall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up five goals over those 11 games. As for Bravo, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Bravo suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Marshall when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Bravo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
